Subhashis Chand…

May 20, 2007

Finally we all managed to organise a batch trip. Thanks to all the co-organisers. It was one of the most pleasurable experience in IIIT which I will cherish through out my life. It not only improved our ‘sambandh’ with our batch mates but also introduced us the rich heritage of India.
This was quite evident in Araku valley which homes many tribal groups. Vishakapatnam is known for its beaches and holy temples. We visited the sacred Mahakali temple in Vizag. Trip to vizag is incomplete without visting its exquisite beaches. We had a fun time in Rashikonda, with golden sand and soapy water It was an ideal place to frisk around. We went to Kailashgiri hills .An amazing scenic beauty. We managed to get a few clicks in our camera in the picturesque setting. Then we left for Bora caves and Araku Valley. It was a hilly region filled with cataract and dense forest. Bora Caves has a geographical importance, Its one of the few natural rock
formations open to the crowd where we can see the stalagmite and stalacite formations. From there we headed back to the college. The bus trip was the most enjoyable part, twelwe hours of jollification journey filled with entertainment and lots of fun. It was a learning and funfilled experience.I hope we will have more batch trips in future. A special mention of our faculty and the class representative for making this trip a huge success.
